Fixing our broken roads and pavements

Jonathan has lobbied hard to fix our broken roads and pavements across Stoke-on-Trent North, Kidsgrove and Talke, securing major investment to fill in potholes and resurface more roads. Stoke-on-Trent Conservatives invested £39 million into our highways from 2019-2023, repairing over 30,000 potholes and resurfacing over 1,200 roads.

Over £200 million saved from HS2 is being invested into our roads in Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire, with a TEN TIMES increase being given to both local authorities for roads and local transport for seven years from 2025. Thanks to the Conservatives, both Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent have a JCB Pothole Pro to speed up repairs.

Now Jonathan has delivered the goods, it is down for the Councils to act, and he set up his Pothole Patrol so he can raise potholes or broken pavements near you with the relevant local authority.
