Today the Home Secretary, Priti Patel, came to the Mother Town of Burslem to visit The Blue Glove Boxing Academy, which I invited her to visit.
It was a pleasure to be joined by my colleagues Jack Brereton MP and Jo Gideon MP.
The Blue Glove Boxing Academy is a safe space for Staffordshire Police staff and other emergency key workers to keep fit.
PC Colin Gay, one of the Co-Founders, did a brilliant job talking about their journey from 2011 and the £300,000 plus that has been raised for charities over the years from charity boxing matches.
Having previously visited Blue Glove and see the amazing work they do, I was delighted Priti came to see it first hand and help celebrate some of the best best we have in Stoke-on-Trent North, Kidsgrove and Talke.
