Following a recent survey of Goldenhill and Sandyford residents, Parliamentary candidate Jonathan Gullis and local City Councillor Chandra Kanneganti responded to the concerns over litter from the local fast food chains.
A litter pick with the local McDonald's in Sandyford was arranged by Jonathan and Chandra.
Being joined by members of all ages from across the local area the litter pick proved to be a success.
Commenting, Jonathan said:
"I am grateful to all those who took part today. If you know of any areas where litter is a problem then please contact me."
"Cllr Kanneganti made a pledge to tidy up Goldenhill and Sandyford with the help of local residents. Today showed the very best of the amazing community spirit we have and why this is a city to be proud of."
