Jonathan met with Chief Inspector Mark Barlow, Stoke-on-Trent North Policing Team Commander, to discuss anti social behaviour and crime within Stoke-on-Trent North.
The key takeaway was that crime is down 6 per cent on the previous year to date which is down to the hard work of local police officers, PCSO's and community leaders.
Commenting, Jonathan said:
"I was pleased to hear that Boris Johnson’s pledge of 20,000 more Police Officers is welcomed. But money for new technology in order to help with investigations and preventions methods is also needed. I will keep in touch with CI Mark Barlow and look forward to working together and the local community to making Stoke-on-Trent North, Kidsgrove and Talke an even better place to live."
