Over the recent parliamentary recess in February I visited Stoke-on-Trent Foodbank.
I am grateful to all the hard work that is done to help some of the most vulnerable in our community. The reasons are complex and varied as to why people visit the foodbank and I want to see fewer people having to use it.
Some of the ways I want to help is to fix Universal Credit in my role as Secretary for the APPG on Universal Credit. I am also pushing for better education and job opportunities, that pay higher wages.
