It was great to visit Asda Tunstall recently to talk about their fantastic Green Token Giving scheme.
Each year, Asda’s charity, the Asda Foundation, invests £1million into local communities through Green Token Giving, supporting thousands of local good causes across the UK.
This year the foundation will be awarding three new local charities in Stoke-on-Trent North, Kidsgrove and Talke with up to £500 in funding and they want your say about which local charities you believe deserve to win.
Voting will take place virtually this year, with voting being live until the end of July. Residents should visit https://www.asda.com/green-tokens and will need to pick their local store from the drop-down list, and they will then see the three local charities, with more information about each good cause available.
The winners of each store's vote will receive £500 from the Asda Foundation, and the two runners-up will receive improved awards of £400 and £300 for second and third place, respectively.
So please visit https://www.asda.com/green-tokens to have your say and help more of our local good causes receive the sort of funding that can really make a difference.
