Today I was delighted to be joined by Stephen Barclay, Secretary of State for Exiting the European Union, to Stoke-on-Trent North.
We visited Q-railing which is based on the Tunstall Arrow which is part of the successful Ceramic Valley Enterprise Zone. Approximately 2,000 jobs have been secured or created to date across our city.
The Tunstall Arrow site is owned by Network Space, who began phase 1 development in 2017, having secured gap funding from Stoke-on-Trent City Council to bring forward a development of industrial units.
This was the first speculative investment into the city in 25 years and the phase 1 site was completed in summer 2019, with all units having been pre-let.
In November 2019, the site won Business Insider West Midlands ‘Best Regeneration Project’, and Network Space are about to embark on the second phase of development.
By getting Brexit done we can build upon this success, give business the assurance it needs to invest and create more opportunities.
