Thanks to funding from the Kidsgrove Town Deal secured by Jonathan, the Chatterley Valley West site between Kidsgrove and Tunstall is being redeveloped, creating up to 1,700 brand new jobs and an advanced ceramics campus.
Nearly £4 million from the government’s Kidsgrove Town Deal is being allocated to the project, as well as £3.5 million from Staffordshire County Council to unleash the site’s full potential.
Work is already fully underway on the site and there is already significant interest in the site from international companies.
With the very convenient location of this site, the 1,700 new jobs will be local to people across Stoke-on-Trent, Kidsgrove and Talke.
Once completed, the local area could see over £2.5 million spent on further regeneration, as a result of business rates from the site.
