Jonathan Gullis hosted a group of constituents in the House of Commons for a tour of the House of Commons and a Q&A.
After a coach trip down from Tunstall, with help from Oasis Travel, the guests had time to question Jonathan on matters of national policy, about re-development in Burslem and on how Parliament works.
Afterwards, guests were given a behind the scenes tour of the House of Commons and Westminster Hall (pictured above).
Guests also had the chance to get out and about in London before heading back up to Stoke-on-Trent.
Commenting, Jonathan Gullis said: “It was fantastic to welcome a great bunch of constituents down to the heart of our democracy so they could explore the corridors of power. It’s vital everyone can visit the Houses of Parliament and see where the laws that impact them are made to better understand how it works.”
“Along with their tour, it was encouraging to hear from constituents and update them on some of our key campaigns over the next year, including regenerating Burslem’s Indoor Market.”
