Today I asked the Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, Alok Sharma, about how measures to enable dining outside are essential to help our food and hospitality sector in Stoke-on-Trent, Kidsgrove and Talke.
I also asked if we can encourage the government to back the British Ceramics Confederation #DineSafe campaign, calling for all chipped plates in the hospitality and food sector, to be replaced with Stoke-on-Trent’s finest tableware, as the glaze acts as a protection from COVID-19 once washed.
