It was a pleasure to meet the team at Headway House to hear about the challenges they have faced during COVID-19 and how they have overcome them to help support people who have suffered with brain injuries.
The work to remain open for those who were vulnerable or needed the most support during full lockdown was inspiring. But also the work which involves going out to people’s homes and continue physical and cognitive therapy in gardens.
Working closely with the Royal Stoke University Hospital and Haywood Walk-In Centre, who specialise in brain injuries nationally, the work Headway House do to help get people rehabilitate and support families is incredible.
