Jonathan Gullis, Member of Parliament for Stoke-on-Trent North, Kidsgrove and Talke has launched a Short Story Competition for all KS2 (Year3-6) students across his constituency.
Entries are to be no longer than 500 words, and can be submitted via email to [email protected] with the heading ‘Writing with Jonathan’. Entries must have full name, year group and school.
First prize of the competition will work with Carse&Waterman’s in-house character designer to bring a character from their story to life in the form of a professionally designed character illustration and receive a final signed and framed colour version.
Second prize will receive a £100 credit with Bee Active. A fantastic local company providing fun activities for school children at home.
Third prize will receive a year’s subscription to Bee Active TV. The digital game for physical development, with 1000’s of activity ideas to improve balance, coordination, agility and strength.
The deadline for entries is the 19th February 2021 with the winners being announced on World Book Day, 4th March 2021.
